Yahoo Mails missing from inbox and sent items

Hi folks,

This is kinda scary. yesterday I found that I couldn't find few of my recent sent items from my" Sent Folder" .
Now in my inbox mails after Sept 5 is missing.

Just wrote to the Help Center to retrieve my mails, but I am worried since it carries a lot of official and personal mails

Is this some technical fault from Yahoo ( anyone facing the issue?) ? Anyway to make sure my account isn't hacked ( have changed my pw now)

I have my mails right from the first mail I received about 11 years ago. The "Welcome to Yahoo! Mail"
Kind of a silly question but did you check Trash and other folders where it could have been accidentally moved?
