Windows and Linux together

Hello !
Please tell me that can we have a dual boot system having windows on one system and linux on the other. If there some requirements for this then please tell me. Its urgent! I am having a P4 computer with 224 MB of Ram, 1.6 Ghz processor and windows Me as OS.

the best soln will be buying two hard disk,

one for windows
another for Linux

defently u can do that ..just install any disto like RH,suse ..u have to install a boot loader like LILO or GRUG .. or use any theard party like bootNG

hmm u can even install linux on fat32. there are some distro's dat u can run just by clicking the start menu. ;)

i don't remember there name hmm was it monkey linux something there are many more...
where is gnurag :p he will give u more distro's name.

For a newbie i recommend to go for mandrake,suse or knoppix. They aer pretty cool ones :D

Dual booting is a very common question, there's a lot of Howto and Tutorials available online. Just search for them :)
