Will working as a HR Intern add any value to IT Resume?

I've been trying to get some internships on internshala to kill some time and make some money . There are only few IT/Technical Internships so I got a Human Resource Intern Role .
I will be looking for some internship from my university in 3 months . Just wanted to know if working as a HR Intern would add any value to my resume when appearing for fresher interviews .
Should I instead utilize these 3 months to work on some personal projects?

What does the work involve? HR is more of a management area of work than technical.

It involves screening resumes and managing talent acquisition . So rather I leave the job and work on projects?

Looks like a management job. You can do it if you want, but it really depends on what you intend to do in the future.

Do it if you thinking about leaving technical job and doing mba after bachelors. Otherwise, if you want to remain only in technical, then it may not be of much weightage.

Continue with the HR intern only if you want to be an HR or Manager in any company.
But if technical expertise is your area of concern than skip it.
