Will this affect my motherboard ,processor

Hello Frineds,
I recently(6 months back) bought a motherboard
msi 790fxgd70 and processor amd phenom 2 x4 925 but i was unaware that the board requires graphics card to run so i couldnt make the pc run so i just kept it like that as this was my second pc so my query is that will it affect my motherboard or processor if its kept like that as my processor is already mounted on the board or i just immediately need to get the graphics card and run the pc?
