Will 2014 games be playable on this build

my pc configuration is
amd fx 4300
MSI NVIDIA NVIDIA N740-2GD5 (GeForce GT 740) GDDR5 2 GB GDDR5
ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard
Cooler Master Elite 311 Mid Tower Cabinet
Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU
Corsair DDR3 8 GB(2 x 4GB) PC RAM (CMV4GX3M1A1600C11)
Seagate Barracuda 2 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive
I just want to know that will I be able to play games released in 2014.
please dont be harsh i am a first time PC builder and gamer

Yeah, you should be able to play most games at medium settings @720p/768p. You should have opted for a better graphics card like a gtx 750ti for better gaming performance.

Add the following to be able to play all 2014-15 games:

Zotac GTX750Ti 2GB -10500,
Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz 4GB -3200.
TOTAL -13,700.

Processor is fine , You should look for GPU 750ti or R9 270x and add 4 GB ram .
