Why in Bluetooth Headphones for speakers & Headset for mic don't work in windows?

In windows when we connect a Bluetooth speaker headphone with mic, in sound settings there is an option to select Headset & Headphones in Output device & Headset in Input device. Problem is setting Headphones for Speakers & Headset for Mic don't work. But when we select Headset for speakers sound quality is low.

In latter option, sound becomes mono, hence sounds bad but mic works in this mode.

I'm not sure why this happens, but I faced this with my OP bullets Z & my mobo has BT 5.0.
