Which one to buy x64 or x86
Which one to buy x64 or x86
cynosure said:If you are having 4GB of ram, then Vista x86 will show it as 3.5GB although you can correct it by following something pointed out by choto_cheeta.
But if you have 64bit Vista then it will show it as 4GB only.
If you have anything less than 4GB (Like 2GB, 1GB, even 3GB) then go for x86 Vista as there are not many softwares out for Vista x64.

will a 64-bit OS even install/run on his computer
ne way if ur processor not 64-bit then no point buying 64-bit OS
slugger said:d fact dat only bcos it is X2 duz not..i repeat...duz not mean dat it has 2 b 64-bit
if it is a 64 bit processor d model will clearly mention x64, which d original poster has not mentioned
