Which RAM to buy For Lenovo z50-70

I have Lenovo z50-70 429623 with 4GB Ram(4GB 1Rx8 PC3L-12800S-11-13-B4 Samsung M471B517EB0-YK0). My question is should I buy 4gb ram from Samsung itself to get good compatibility and performance? Or Can I go for other brands(like Corsair) and also can I add 8gb ram, will that result in decreased compatibilty. I'll be buying 1600Mhz DDR3L if other brands are chosen. Please reply

Just a suggestion, maybe you could add 2 sticks of 4Gb RAM. if you run 2 RAM sticks, you will be running memory in dual channel which will be a greater increase in performance than running a single stick in single channel.

In real world terms you will get a 5-20% performance increase with dual channel when running benchmarks. You probably won't notice it in terms of speed though. The basically dual channel has two roads to move information compared to one road.
