Which motherboard to buy for new computer

I want to purchase intel 915 motherboard with 3.0 processor
can any one tell me which intel chipset plus brand i should go for

in digit there was MSI , Foxconn, His , Mercury Which to select

Also what is difference between
Intel® Extreme Graphics
Intel® Extreme Graphics 2
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900

Also what is this

i mean 32MB if 128 to 255MB RAM what it means
does it means ram if high then 64 mb video memory
and if ram is less than 255 then 32

i want motherboard to have :-
i want to play games like nfs u 2 at good frame rates without graphics card
also i want 8 onboard sound channels if possible
also it should be upgradable in further
also i want to install 2 GB or more ram on Win 98

Also tell me that samsung and sony dvd writer tells that win xp required to use writer
can i use writer samsung or sony on win 98 smoothly

Also does Roxio easy cd and dvd creator or Roxio Easy media creator
supports Sony 810 A or samsung TS-H552U
i cant find there names in supported list of writers
though they say that list is quite old may be updated last on 2002-2003

well i'll suggest u to go for a AMD platform wid MSI RS480m2 mobo which has a decent onboard graphics but dun hav a 8 channel onboard sound infact sound quality isnt dat gud as i m using it and very disappointed wid da sound but trust me onboard grapix is quite decent compared 2 other chipset wid onboard grapix.but if u hav make up ur mind 2 go for a intel platform den go for a asus 915 mobo its awesome or may b intel original.i dindt get u wat u r tryin 2 ask bout de video memory and stuff.
