You can easily get a laptop with those specifications at your budget. I suggest Dell T540506IN8. You can have a look at Dell's website for other options. Core2duo has become old, now most laptops come with Core i3 which is a much better processor with hyper threading capabilities.
The model I suggested is listed on Dell's website at Rs. 36,900, street prices might be a bit lower. It has a 15.6" screen (1366x768), 4GB RAM (DDR3 1333mhz) & ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 & a 2.26 Ghz Core i3 processor. It should have the other features you want. Wi-Fi, bluetooth, ethernet, 2 USB ports are standard these days.

hey....actually the config you have mentioned is actually not advisable to be bought at this point to buy..coz the cpu shall be inferior to the new 45nm cpu series (though not quite sure abt the manufacturing process)but ,you should better be off with atleast and i5(acc to me) as this the perfect cpu thats aslo falls in the correct category of performance and price...and 512 VRAM will actually make you fall baack into time as atleast a dx11 (ati/vidia) dedicated gpu will make u future ready...and its alwasy not necessary to go witha single brand in mind...i advise if u could probably wait and then increase ur budget by 6k(6000) rupees and then buy an acer 5740G model which is the "best performane based & affordable too" lappy....so please think a little before the decision

Actually i3 costs more than core 2 duo & i don't need its horse power at any time in future.
So i go for core 2 duo...that's enough for me.
Any about GPU, i really don't need any. But it should be in my laptop in case future apps using GPU cababilities like Photoshop CS4+ etc.

core i3 would cost u a little more...not necessarily.....i will serach for a laptop now....and give u the link to it.....and yaar CS5 ki requirements dekh liyo.....its going tobe bit resource hungry for sure...and whats bad abt being future ready..:)

The Dell Online Store: Build Your Systemdell inspiron lappy...check this out ....but only probs is 512 vram of intel hd vid card....looking for others too...

HP Pavilion dv4-2100 Entertainment Notebook PC series Home & Home Office...check these too...but u see these configs are again very below avg kind...see the last config ....for this price u will get the best powerful config from acer 5740g model...(waise i am not publicising acer models here....but i myself am buying a laptop after like 10 years....(my dubba pc is going lke hell....no upgrade on it for from past 5 years)...so i have found out this model here gives u a perfect price performane ratio....and dont be in a hurry.....buying an i series is always better....smaller manufacturing process....ie 45nm in this case....increases ur battery life of a laptop...and lesser heat dissipation....so u see...i advise u to either search for ur "perfect" laptop that meet sur abovesaid config...or go for a better option from acer.....wasie check out this laptop details tooAcer Aspire 5740G (6979) Review - A Review of the Acer Aspire 5740G (6979)

I've recently bought a PC after hard research in the area of Processor, MB, RAM, GPU.
It's really unnecessary to think about future compatibility.

The specification I mentioned, is what I need. Not a spec more or less.

Thanks "borax12" & "Cool Buddy" for your suggestions. But as I mentioned above, I need only what I've written. I know about 45nm processor and Intel's coming 32nm processors. I myself have Core 2 Duo E7400 in my PC which is a 45nm chip LGA755.
What i mean is "I need only that what I've written"
