In terms of downloading speed DAP Paid version is the best but in terms of functionality IDM is the best according to me.

IDM Because IDM is More Flexible than any DL Manager, Benefits of IDM...
1.Pressing ALT key you can by Pass IDM in case if u don't want to download any stuffs From IDM,Usually in Case of Rapidshare
2.By INSERT Key U can Force IDM to Download a particular file, If By Default Its Not Starting with IDM
3.Download Any Online Streaming Media, Like Vidoes,songs from youtube,esnips (Means Listen while downloading)

Thats why i Feel IDM is the BEST.
