Which is Apt - LED Monitor or LED TV for Gaming Rig

Guys,
I am getting a new Gaming Rig this month and have shortlisted Benq G2222HDL for LED Monitor (FULL HD). I was having a doubt, should I get a LED TV Instead will it be the same? What are the Pros and Cons for each and which is the best for around 12K - upto 24" LED TV if available?

FYI - Gaming Rig Config
I5 2500K,
ASUS z68 PRO,
1TB Seagate,
4GB Corsair Vengeance,
MSI 2GB R6950 Twin Frozer III OC

For gaming purposes my suggestion is to got for a LCD monitor.

The Benq E2420HD is a great monitor and it costs around Rs.13000
