Sir, i am computer science student and i want to upgrade my desktop.I want to buy a motherboard thats good for gaming , HD videos and should have scope for future upgrades. I came to know about the Nvidia XFX 650i ultra.Will it be good for the things i mentioned?And please suggest a good graphix card that play next level games.Shall i go for the Nvidia 8500GT or 7900 GTX.?please give the prices of the two cards too.

well since u mentioned 650i, it means that u lukin for a mobo supportin Intel mobo
u haven't mentioned ur budget
u haven't mentioned weather u wan2 go 4 single GPU setup or multi GPU setup
if u want a single GPU mobo, then u cud take a luk @ Asus P5B-E Plus (around 11K)
and if multi GPU is ur thin then take a luk @ Asus P5N-E SLI (9Kish)
As 4 playin d latest games, 7x series wont support DX10 (or DX10.1 4 dat matter)
u will need sumthin from d 8x stable for playing d latest games @ optimum perfromance (to be released)
also take a luk @ this thread
