hi cud some1 tell me what is the funda of banning ip in bitcomet??how is it usefull.i have very slow(64kbps) internet.can it help in faster downlods

as u know Torrent funda is share data between many systems... by Banning one IP u make sure that neither u download from that IP nor u upload... no data transefar between ur system and that IP (system) takes place... as in Torrents u may upload some part of the file u have and can download other part what u dont have... so banning one IP can slow u down if u have something to download from that IP (system)...

Do we have such an option of Banning IPs in utorrent? in Azureus?

^^ i thnk u can close the connection from the list of ur connections in ur firewall GUI, u can see the ip of ur peers from the peer list and close that connection from the firewall , i tried this with utorrent.
