Wd 1tb extrenal hdd

i bought a WD Elements 2.5 inch 1 TB External Hard Drive from snapdeal ....it is powering on and works well but i want to know
1) is there any way to check the disk and diagnosis for any error
2)is there any registration required
2)whats the procedure for its RMA,the bill doesn't have any mention of hdd serial on it
3)my desktop has usb 3.0 port but still not giving me high speed
4)want to buy a pouch ...plz suggest any

Create an account on western digital website and register your product using the serial number. If you don't have any serial number,you may have to ask snapdeal.
Thinking about rma now?
You can request an rma on wd website and you don't require any bill. And you don't have go anywhere for rma purpose. They will reach where you are and collect hdd from you(in most places ,I think).
Search on amazon or eBay for hdd cases.
