I want to buy a Laptop for 45-50K (so that I don't land up with a huge tax !).
Some friends recommended DELL !
Saw the Inspiron 1520, 1525 and Vostro 1510 and 1710. Please help me make a better choice !.
Want 3 GB RAM, 250-320GB HDD and a Graphics Card (if its worth it !)
I'm gonna use it for all general purposes besides gaming and some multimedia apps.
I wanted to go for 4 GB RAM but I saw that 32bit Windows doesn't support more than 3.2 GB so I thought that it wasn't worth it.
ALL SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME IN THIS REGARD.
Please help me choose a laptop......I want to purchase it within the second week of July. I can do with any Laptop that is from a good brand and is of good build.
While I was going through other similar threads here, I found that DELL happened to be a really good choice !
A few questions that I want to ask=========
Is it worth having 4 GB RAM ? Can I install a 64bit Vista and use all the existing softwares besides making full use of my 4gb ? I initially thought of using 3 gb. Can I run all my existing games and other apps that run on my 32 bit Vista ?
Is it really good option to buy the laptop through a relative in US ? What can be the price difference if I get a Laptop for Rs. 50,000 (without taxes) i India ?
Do I need to have an alternate warranty plan if the laptop is bought in the US ? If yes, then does exceed the price difference ?
