a. Like: (Not such choices, just need performance up to level) Dell, HP, Lenovo, Samsung
b. Dislike:
5) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
well, my bro is mechanical engineer..so he will be using designing softwares like autocad, catia, proee, etc..besides, watching HD movies so multimedia, playing normal games for time pass (though he's not in gamings).
6) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?
well, he'll be started working from august..so portable would be better i guess..
7) Will you be playing games on your notebook? If so, please state which games or types of games?
as i said, he's not into gamings..but, we can't judge..if he gets bored then game will be the only thing he might shift on..so don't want high end cards..just intel HD 3000 will do work if i3 sandy bridge config fits in the budget..
8) How many hours of battery life do you need?
as long as possible..can't say actually..
9) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK?
i know the performance of 2nd gen i3 DESKTOP proccys..so, doesn't matter..
10) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista or Windows 7), Mac OS, Linux, etc.
win 7 (x64)
Screen Specifics
doesn't matter..
