2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
Laptop with screen size of 14 or 15 inches

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
Nothing that would require heavy resources. Browsing, watching videos, running simple software etc.

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
Would prefer Windows 8.1, dual core and above, don't want AMD, decent disk size

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
All known brands are fine with me except HCL. Dell, HP are best for me.

5) Anything else you would like to say?
Good battery backup(should not be poor)
Want to purchase online in India
