I think its due to low PWM frequency. Many TVs have 120Hz-300Hz freq which is not considered to be good for eyes. High end monitors have much higher PWM frequency or don't use PWM to control brightness.Some people say TV as a monitor is not good for your eyes. I could be wrong though.
There's a reason why TV's are used for watching only videos, and monitors are used for, well, "PC monitors". Use case of both are very different.Would anyone recommend using a 40in 4k tv as a pc monitor?
