URGENT - matter of my life and death...!!!!

URGENT HEALTH EQUIPMENT - treadmill - crucial decision...!!!

Hi everyone...!!!

Presently I am working under extreme work pressure and therefore have to sit infront of computer for hours at times 18 hrs.

I sincerely want to exercise...but cannot even go out to gym or walking.

I am thinking of buying one treadmill so that whenever i get time i can run on it...

These days most of the time, I work from home...so having treadmill by my side is no problem...

CAN ANYONE PLEASE SUGGEST ME WHICH TREADMILL SHOULD I PURCHASE OR WHICH COMPANY'S TREADMILL IS GOOD AND EASILY AVAILABLE IN KOLKATA...

Any help / advice / suggestion is more than welcome...as my health is really going very bad due to complete lack of exercise...and i am sure that unless i have a treadmill by my side...i will affect my health terribly...

PLEASE ANYONE ADVISE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE...

I AM REALLY WAITING...

thanks and best regards,

p.s. please reply and do NOT ignore this post of mine...its truly a question of my life...i have gained 20 kgs in last 20 months...bcz all i do is continuously work...and i cannot leave my work...so having treadmill by side is best option...

please help me by providing as much information as you can..........??????

NOTE:

I am quite flexible as to cost...but i would want something preferably

a. which occupies less space...
b. if possible can be easily shifted or carried...
c. does not cost me too too much...

That is definetly not a good idea, you got to have a timetable of your workout, running on it whenever you find time will cause even more problems.

I am impressed with "Afton" sports equipment, no idea if they are available at Kolkata.

there is this co. "life fitness" & all the equipment in my neighbourhood gym is from this co.
if u r really interested i can get u the helpline no. of its "asia-pacific" region branch from there u can get info bout dealers in kolkata.
( it is basically a US based co. and the equipment is damn good.)

I would definetly suggest you to go to a physician to check your diet, your work load at office and any other health issue before u start buying a home gym.
And yes, running whenever u have the time ain't the brightest idea neither. So consult a "gym administrator" or whoever it is that is in-charge of a gym and ask for a routine.

King of my own Castle
Having Bought a Threadmill after extensive research i bet i can put in my 2 cents of advice .
Thumb of rule : Never buy Manual Thredmill as its really too hard for the workout and simply it would be left there lying around the corner.
Better invest in a good motorised thread mill . I got a wonderful Bargain on 3.75HP motorised thread mill i got off Camp ( Sports shop near Pyramids Camp , Pune ) at around 51,000Rs .
Things too look out for are....
1) Please dont buy local motorised thread mill as they have more problem value than getting any workout out of them.
2) Look for atleast more than 2.5 HP motor at continous avarage out put rather than peak Hp output.
3) Look for Thread mill with inbuilt cushion system .
4) An Automatic Incline and Decline is always a boost.
5) Stess for the Silicon spray free when you buy the threadmill as its keeps the rubber in condition and its costly spray at 2K
6) Look for thredmill with ample of space to walk .
But please dont by Manaul Threadmill as you will spoil the real fun of threadmill. Better if cannot afford a motorised threadmill i suggest do what Djmykey suggests.
But i assure you invest in motorised threadmill and it will serve your real good.
Best of luck and happy hunting.
