upgrading laptop

im using HP dv5 1200e model laptop now i want to upgrade its process to core i5,will dv5 supports core i5 processor if yes what will be the cost???

Mobile Intel Core 2 Duo/Quad processors use Socket M and Socket P.

First gen mobile Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors use Socket G1.

Newer Sandy Bridge processors use Socket G2.

All the sockets mentioned above are incompatible with each other. Lastly, finding mobile processors in retail is very very difficult and upgrading a laptop is just not worth it.
