upgrade to new gaming rig

i want to upgrade my computer that include processor,mobo,ram,hard disk ,graphic card and cabinet with externel smps.i have the budget of 30-35k .i wanna go for amd 3000+ ,not sure about mobo whether go for asus or msi ,512 mb ram ,geforce6600 gt and a smps of 450w.please suggest some suggestions with price (in delhi).

2-ASUS A8NE-6.5k
3-1GB KINGSTON/transcend/twinmos DDR 400MHz RAM-5k
4-BIG,LEADTEK 6600GT 128/256MB GPU-9k/11k
5-Hitachi SATA2 160GB-4.2k
6-Antec 400w smps-3.4k
7-cabinet of ur choice

Above config will come around 35k and i guess this the best u can get for 35k.i m sure others will tellu more bout it if i forgot sumthin or der cud b sumthin betta.

one question about geforce 6600gt .for what period of time ,it can handle the future games.is it good to invest in it?

yea its a gud investment.for ur budget its the best u can get else if u can get 6800GT which will come around 18k den juz go for dat one it can handle all most every game with high settings but its very hard to find it these dayz.6600gt can play most of the games in medium settings accept F.E.A.R.if i had to choose then i'll try to manage 10k and will go for 6800gt as i guess it will b able to handle all the up coming games and its future proof to sum extend,one cant say the same bout 6600gt.

I agree; the glory days of 6600GT are over, the newer games need atleast a 6800 or it's equivalent to run at decent settings.

Not true. Why ? cos the 6600GT performs on par with a 6800 NU. Getting a 6800GT will become a min requiremeny coming up unless you know how to OC a 6600GT or the 6800NU.

how much can u oc a 6600GT? max 10 % that gives a performance increase of arnd 10% too....my 6600GT (550/1120) struggles at max settings in FEAR

Has FEAR been released in India? I did not see it in any of the stores. Neither did I see Civ IV. How much are these two priced?
