I have win XP with SP 2 when I boot my computer after "POST" it gives a message:

whats mean by this? what kind of problem is this?

Hmmm! That looks like an unexpected kernel trap error message. It usually signifies a hardware fault. First of all, have you been having any other problems recently? Has anyone opened up the computer and tinkered with the internal stuff? Has any new hardware/software been installed after which you started noticing this error? Let's take this step by step. First unplug all your printers and other unnecessary stuff and start the computer with just the keyboard/mouse/monitor. If it doesnt boot, then immediately after the POST, see if you can at least enter the startup menu with F8. You most probably will not be able to, but thats just for checking. Next, unplug all unnecessary internal cards if possible (if you're uncomfortable with this, get a geek friend to help you out) and then try booting the computer up. If that still doesn't work, then your best bet to see if the problem gets solved is through the Windows XP Repair option. Boot the computer off the Windows XP CD, press Enter and when it tries to detect a previous Windows installation, press R to repair the previous installed copy. If that doesn't work, reboot the computer with the Windows XP CD, go to the Recovery Console by pressing R and run the
chkdsk <x>: /p /r
command where <x> are your drive letters. If your computer still refuses to boot, then backup all your data and reinstall Windows XP from scratch. If your computer still refuses to install then it can be any problem ranging from your hard disk to your memory to a screwed up motherboard or processor. It can be fixed be a single repair or take anywhere from a BIOS flash to a bad processor.
