Since you work there it should be easier for you else for typical people it is advised to take screenshots of all transactions/offer notifications as cashback tracking system of hdfc is not good compared to amazon icici or flipkart axis.

Spoiler alert turns out my laptop can't fit it in and amazon won't return it so now I need suggestions on how to use it with this laptop.

Length issue mate, it is supposed to occupy a smaller size m.2, so basically it is not fitting in

Ah, I guess then you'd have to find a m.2 extender cable and just stick your ssd inside the chassis somehow using thin double sided tape.
