I recently configured Thunderbird as my default e-mail client.
Questions
1]HOW TO SEND MAILS AT A LATER DATE/HOUR?
2]HOW TO SUBSCRIBE TO NEWSGROUPS?[IF POSSIBLE MENTION SOME USEFUL NEWSGROUPS ]
3]HOW TO CREATE MAILING LISTS ala DISTRIBUTION LISTS IN OUTLOOK?

1, No idea.
2. Click on File ->Account -> Newsgroup account (NOT RSS News and Blogs)
I dont subscribe to Newsgroups, so can't suggest any
3. Click on Tools menu -> Address Book(or just click on Address Book button on the tool bar) and click on New List
