But what its use now in ff 2.0?
The new version of ff already contains Close buttons on each tab, has Undo Closed Tabs, has Session restore feature!
A few features that I love from TMP nightly builds
- Prevents blank tab opening when you download something
- Tab focus configuration
- Closed tabs list in right click context menu
- Configurable number of closed tabs to remember
- Choice between multi row tab bar or scrollable bar
- Highlight unread tabs. Configurable colors.
- Tab selection using scrolling
- Tab selection when pointed towards
- Mouse gestures specific to tabs
- Elaborate and configurable tab context menu
- Duplicate, rename, protect and many other enhanced tab functions
- Configurable automatic reloading with various predefined and custom time settings
- Full fledged session manager that can save all your existing tabs along with the closed tabs list and existing tabs status (lock, protect, permissions etc.).
- Excellent crash recovery.
Some of these features can be tweaked by going into about:config but still TMP acts as an excellent graphic tool to perform all the changes
