suggestion for everyday use laptop

1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)

ideally 35k - 45k stretchable to 55k max

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

def. mainstream laptop 15" - 16"


3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
I mostly work on MS office, with tally accounting software and net browsing.

light gaming and watching movies.


5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?

nothing specific but atleast i5 , 4gb ram, 1tb hdd

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

i would prefer dell, hp , lenovo as they have wide service network.


6) Anything else you would like to say?

Screen resolution ( 768p (HD) / 900p / 1080p (Full HD) ) FHD 1080p
Battery back up ( normal (3-4hrs) / extended (5-7hrs) ) normal, but if possible do suggest extended options
Purchase place ( Online (eg - flipkart, infibeam) / Local / Abroad (do mention the country) ) online or local as i have doubts about warranty on abroad purchase.

•K555LB has built quality issues - check Amazon reviews.
•R558UF has USB C
•750 Evo endurance- 32 TB
vs
Bx100 endurance-64 TB

The panel on k555lb is not antiglare and cannot confirm either it is ips

If it's a TN panel it's not worth.

any suggestions??

i don't want to buy asus as the after sales service is very bad in my area...

This laptop I mentioned has 1080p anti glare screen, GT940M, backlit keyboard, light weight at 2.1kg & ADP... So I think it is a option than both Asus ones... You might find it cheaper locally (Check other online retailers too)

Add a 8GB RAM stick in it if you want, costs 2.5k

TN displays are inferior in colour reproduction compared to normal LED backlit displays (So basically TN displays are cheaper)

That Z51 costs 59k in amazon. Except for CPU(better) & display(worse), everything is similar between it & the HP one

That Ideapad 500 costs 65k. Overall these two laptops aren't worth their price. I'll say that HP provides a good value for money as i5 is more than enough for your tasks & light gaming (provided you install the additional 8GB RAM)

If you can increase your budget to 65k, I can give better options like this one

it has fhd...4gb.. 6th gen i3

but could not find any reviews.. so any suggestion for this one?

Did you even check the one I posted??

HP 15-ac635TU is good for under 40k (It has 1080p screen but no backlit keyboard as some retailers mention)

I bought dell 15 5559 3 days back. Good lappy so far. Win 10 Home - 6th gen i5, 8 GB RAM (Dual Channel), 1 TB HDD 5400 RPM & ATI radeon M335 2 GB Graphics.
Display is not FHD though. got it for 53k offline - local store. also got USB mouse & free Dell Bag with it. :)

just one more query... can i add a 2gb graphic card to this laptop ?? and if yes, then suggest few options...
