My friend wants to buy a new laptop. He prefers complete SSD(no HDD). Please suggest.
1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
50-55k INR

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

Thin and Light; 12" - 14" screen

3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like:lenovo, HP, Dell
b. Dislike:Acer


4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Full HD (1080p) Playback, Normal video editing & Graphics sofware like AutoCAD.

5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?
16:9 aspect ratio


6) Anything else you would like to say? (eg: local purchase, ASS,matte/glossy finish)

HD+, 3rd gen i5, good graphic card. Good enough for your requirements. Assuming of course, FHD screen is not a requirement.
 
At that price point in India, no one will buy complete SSD laptop(due to low space). So companies don't launch many ultrabooks here

Increase budget a bit & get this one
Its a great lappy considering the requirements......it has optical disk drive, a GPU & 128GB SSD

Anupam's recommendation is good. or Check for Sony or HP ultrabooks they have released some amazing ones recently.
