Suggest Dvd Player within 3k.

I am looking for DVD Player which can play DVD/DVD RW ,Avi,xvid,rmvb,mkv etc most of all formats with jpeg.+ Usb.
my budget is around 3 to 3.5k I cant extend more. I want to buy within 2-3 days as I am going to Gift this to someone.Thanks in Advance.

Dvd players won't play hd movies. Get a media player like Asus Oplay Mini. It has no optical drive, but will play any type of movies from pendrive or external hdd.

I know. I have ps3 for blue ray. I need dvd player to gift someone n that someone uses crt tv. So...

u will get DVD players which can play xvid,divx,avi,mpeg,mp4,vob,wmv
but mov,mkv,rmvb,m2ts are very hard to find (not sure if they exists or not)

Some feedback about Sony. Its TV might be fine and troublefree. But, not with other equipments. I used their home theatre with tape, radio, USB and DVD player.

Some excerpts:

"The Casino Royal DVD provided free with the system played with loud background sounds, which was attributed to defects of recording by your technician, played normally in my computer. Playing of Moserbaer 3 movie SDVD brought the system to standstill. A technician from your Ultadanga, Kolkata (West Bengal) service centre visited a few days before the expiry of warranty and after his cleaning the lens with DVD Cleaner CD the problem was resolved temporarily. He talked about replacing the lens system but did not do so. After a few days when the problem cropped up again the warranty was over. The same centre refused to provide home service then."

"Later on, I contacted with Sony World, Ultadanga and on their advice I got it serviced from M/s Tekno Plaza - your another service centre at Salt Lake, Kolkata. They replaced Optical unit, sled motor, belt etc. (a copy of cash memo enclosed). The system started playing SDVDs but loud background sound with some DVDs persisted."

"I can play music & video CD but DVDs are not running on the system and SDVD is making the system unresponsive. A technician from Tekno Plaza, Salt Lake, Kolkata after inspection suggested replacement of lens and sled motor"

As I was tired with frequent servicing I wrote to the MD, Sony India for replacement. On instruction from him local Sony people contacted me. They were not ready for replacement. They wanted to repair against payment of charges.
