Which upcoming processors from Intel & AMD will not have this problem?

AMD doesn't have Meltdown at all.

Intel has Meltdown.

AMD is affected by one variant of Spectre out of two. Intel is affected by both.

Fixes will arrive for everything, so don't worry.

@ico - Thanks mate! I am actually planning to buy a laptop based on either Intel 8th-Gen with AMD Vega graphics OR going purely with AMD Ryzen Mobile based laptop. Want to have a laptop which I am planning to use for at least next 4 years. But these vulnerabilities were worrying me because their patches provided by Intel or Microsoft have been found to slow-down CPUs.

Do you have any idea when might Intel's Vega based CPUs or AMD Ryzen will arrive here in India?
