My was cousins at home and he wanted to play some game and i was out of stock so i thought of installing commandos 2 but showed virtualdevicedrivers path is incorrect in registry so i googled the query. i found the following procedure

  1. Click Start->Run and type Regedit. Click OK
  2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\VirtualDeviceDrivers
  3. Delete the VDD value
  4. Click Edit->New->Multi-String Value
  5. Name the value VDD, press Enter

But when i went through my registry i could find the path only upto (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\) :shock:and the rest was missing.

It would be great that if you could send that part of the registry on my email -bassam904@gmail.com or on the forum.
P.S:- If there is any other way then please suggest expect repairng windows through cd.
Thanx

Legen-wait for it-dary!
Nothing much, just create a key called VirtualDeviceDrivers, and inside that, a subkey called VDD which is a multistring value.

In short, create the key yourself, since its all empty only.
