1. Cristal clear audio with good/tight bass .
2. Base should not be boomy or bassy or overpower other frequencies.
3. comfort .
4. Mic is not a consideration.

The cheapest earphone that is absolutely worth buying is probably a refurb E10c, you can get in amazon for around Rs 1k.
it is very worth it, the SQ and Build is very good for the price.
