iResQ, an iPhone repair shop claims that it has the front panel component of the iPhone 4G. It has also posted photos that reveal certain things. Although iResQ claims that the parts are not fake, nothing can be said for sure.
But if the parts are real, and Apple isn’t planning to change the iPhone’s design, then the new iPhone will be quarter of an inch longer than its predecessor.
iResq also points out that the front panel has a "reflective, mirror-like surface"...
