Hi Guys,

I wanted to know in a Laptop how does having a (1600 x 900) pixels Resolution versus (1280 x 800) pixels Resolution makes a difference. Does it mean that the one with the (1600 x 900) will have a better display or something. Only the one with (1600 x 900) pixel Resolution will have a better colour reproduction and image display and clarity. How does this make a difference, can someone please explain.

Thanks.

BLah.. Blah..blah.......
on all lcd there is a native resolution i.e. the resolution on which the lcd is going to give its best output video, if its native resolution is 1600*1200 then its good but if u r forcing it to 1600*1200 then it is not that good. crt's could display any resolutions baring the reduction in the vertical refresh rate would take a nose dive. yes the clarity would be more ONLY if its NATIVE RESOLTUION is 1600*1200 and your laptop's screen must be atleast 17" or more or else icons would appear very-very small with large working area.
