plus general entertainment

so it would be better if MS Office is included in it.

whatever is suitable

NO. I recommended him to check HP. His brother thought about Dell. will consider any good brand having good after sales support.

5700U is better for sure, specs say IPS panel, so can consider.

I will say Dell, HP & Lenovo are Tier A in after sales, Asus & Acer at Tier B, MSI & others at Tier C.
