Read books in Google play books without uploading.

Hello guys,
I wanted to know whether we could read epub files or pdf files which are already downloaded, without the need of uploading them to google play books.?

I tried other apps such as aldiko reader, zo reader, moon reader but I cannot find the Apps which are as neat and powerful as Google play books. The dictionary in Google play books is just unbeatable.

So any method to bypass that uploading stuff and read books offline like a traditional ebook reader?

I use OfficeSuite 8 as a complete app for docs and pdf. Its developer has an app for reading epub & pdf files. Give it a try.

You mean Universal Book reader? Thanks, but I have tried it. No better than zo reader and aldiko reader.

I want a reader with a powerful dictionary and neat design. I wanted to try the Amazon Kindle app but to make it work offline, requires a lot of effort.
