1) does it support 3g?

2) Ive heard the available space for usage is just 1.5 gb....I plan on installing a few apps like whatsapp, chrome, gmail google maps, hike and a few games...will it be a problem?..i have no problems transferring my music , pics and vids onto the sd card.

3) the other alternative is the xperia L but the low screen resolution is a big turn off...im just hoping the low storage on the m isn't too big a factor to warrant abandoning it for the L. please advise.

4) are there any other cons about the xperia m that I should know about?

thanks a lot :D

1) Yes
2) Yes storage available total is 2.05 GB out of which around 1.6 gb is usable.. You may root and swap sd card like I have to make your internal memory 7.47 GB as in this screenshot

3)L has same resolution as M, so if you donot like the resolution of L, i doubt you will like M ..
4)M has a mediocre camera, and viewing angles.. although the screen quality and brightness are sufficient
The phone does tend to heat up a bit when playing graphics heavy games like NFS most wanted.. but this happens in MOST android devices (prove me wrong !!)
You will find the battery life to be really good for the price :)

but I don't want to root my phone. will I be able to install the mentioned apps and more within the 1.6 gb of available storage without any problems? also, since the m has a lower screen size and therefore a better ppi of 245, I think itll look better. please correct me if im wrong..the L looks washed out

apps whose size is under 1.6 gb, you will have no problems installing.. and for most people that is sufficient IMO..
But games like NFS most wanted require 1.88 GB of space.. for those you will need to root and swap..
BTW, despite what many people tell you, rooting will NOT and I say again NOT void your warranty, nor is it permanent.. You may easily unroot, or restore stock rom via in built flashtool for sony devices.. even if you screw up the operating system entirely
BUT unlocking bootloader voids the warranty (still even this can be prevented by backing up your TA partition :))
Regarding PPI, the difference in PPI is barely noticeable.. you wont realise any difference of pixel density within those two phones
Also you may consider Huawei P1, if you prefer a better screen and cam..but wouldnt mind a slightly bad chipset

arrey buddy !!!
NFS MW app is merely few MBs which goes to your system storage...
the 1.88GB yoy are talking about is external runtime gaming data which can be stored on external SD card also
my friend can easily run NFS MW on htc explorer (150MB internal memory) still it runs quite smoothly....
Dont directly suggest op about rooting and partitioning SD card ;) :sly:
