Question Newly bought Numeric 600EX UPS. Keep on showing "Charging LED"?

I bought a Numeric 600EX UPS 3 days ago and put it for initial charge. However, the charging LED indicator stays ON continuously when connected to mains power ( the UPS is switched OFF). It remains ON for 3 days.

Is this normal behavior or an issue? I ask because I already have another Numeric 600EX UPS that I bought in January 2024, and on that unit, the charging LED does not stay ON when connected to mains power ( the UPS is OFF).

Also, when I turn on the Main power, the "Low Battery" RED LED turns ON for 1 second and then turns off and then "Charging LED" turns ON.

I use Inverters not UPS as such, on my inverter charging LED blinks when it's charging and is stable when fully charged.

The user manual is silent on those LED indicators. It only talks about Green LED stable meaning AC available and flashing Green meaning UPS power.
The manual says charging time 4 to 8 hours.

Try connecting some non critical load to UPS and test it out if it's working normally or not.
Additionally consider contacting tech support if you are unsure of how the LED works.
