my laptop comes with a inbuilt win xp recovery partitioned drive.
I want to know whether I can install any other OS in it keeping the partioned drive intact.

I wanted to know whether the preinstalled recovery drive would dissolve if I install any other copy of OS rather than using its own original XP OS.
