i plan to dispose off my lappie which i use daily..is therer any software etc which can delete my surfing histroy and other important passwords etc before i sel it off,,, its a win/update 8 original with a free win 10 coversion..i dont wnt to losse the win 10 update but wish to esure all history etc is erased before sale

Reset your os:

Create a microsoft account then use that to login,it will link your existing win 10 license to that MS account which you can then use to login in new win 10 install on another system & use the activation troubleshooter to transfer your license linked to that MS account to activate win 10 on new system.

For safe data removal,just run eraser with 3 pass after taking out & connecting internal hdd via usb case to another system.Once done,put the hdd inside laptop again & reinstall windows version that originally came with it.
