frnz, my pc (amd athlon,128mb)stoping xp sp2 installation on installing net work.i used a lots CDs of xp.atlast i moved my HDD to another PC and installed th OS and bring back it to my PC.now its working but showing some problm when shutting down it culd not off and culd nt enable or disable a hardware through the device mnger.and also prob with pen drive. Is it any problm with mother board? i changed RAM but the reslt was same. HELP me, no err mssage

cant solve ur problem .. bt if u need help then change d title of d thread to something more sensible like 'pc not shutting down' or anything which describes ur prob .

First of all move your HD to your friend's system and connecting it as slave, backup all your important data.
Now from there clear all the Partitions.
Move it back to ur system an Reinstall XP again...

wich mobo do u hv.. Does it hv onboard ethernet adapters

see if u install OS on someone else's PC then that OS wont work on your PC definitely unless u have same motherboard because in process of installation windows installs in it the basic drivers for motherboad.so u will have install OS on your PC separatly.
