Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to ask a few questions here that...

1.) How advisable/recommendable it is to order the latest z97 mobo+Intel 4th Gen Core i5/i7 cpu from the USA. As one of my friend is coming back to Mumbai in Dec 2014'.

The price difference is 3-3.5k less on (brands such as eVGA, Asus, Gigabyte and MSi) for a Rs.15k mobo (priced in India) which (i think) is a good price if bought from out of India (say: in the BLACK FRIDAY deal week or something similar to that week)

Need your views and critical "points to remember".

Cheers n e-peace

only evga afaik offers international warranty and their service is almost non existent here i guess. if you are saving only 3k, then better get it from here. if you can save ,say, more than 6k or so then you may consider that option.

Dude Dude Dude... There's this place called microcenter in USA where you get CPU's real cheap. i7 4790K = 279$ = ~17K vs India's 23K.

If your friend were coming any earlier I would've told you to bring one for me too :-D

Are they Refurbished or New (with warranty).??

And did you made any purchase(s).?

Yes. Brand new sealed box with Warranty. I didn't buy it from there because I was too late. My relative was already on the way back to India.

P.S If you want to buy these CPU's at Microcenter you have to physically go into their store. These discounted things are not available for online purchases.
