~Core i3/i5 7th/8th gen
~8Gb DDR4 Ram (upgradeable)
~HDD upgradeable to SSD(as the pre installed ssd laptops costs too much here in india)
Backlit keyboard (optional)

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: HP>Asus>lenovo>Dell
b. Dislike:eek:thers

6) Anything else you would like to say?

- Screen resolution
~900p

- Battery back up
~Normal (4-5 hours)

- Purchase place
~i can't purchase from abroad. have to depend on e-commerce site or local market.

What exactly were you expecting?Your thread title says "Performance Laptop" which in itself is quite vague not to mention your budget is 40k.Just visit local showrooms of brands or check models on online shopping sites.In this budget there is not much difference in specs(the usual i3/4gb ram/1tb hdd/720p screen etc) & only by seeing the laptop personally can you notice the build quality & screen quality.You can get any laptop hdd upgraded to ssd provided you get it done at the authorized service centre which has to agree to do it & will charge a service amount(expect around Rs.800 at least).
