Pen Drive shows incorrect funtion...PLEASE HELP!!!!

I have a Moser Baer 8 gb pendrive which was working fine untill it came up with an error ....which says incorrect function....i have tried formatting the disk through normal options and through device management and i have also tried disabling and reinstalling the device through the device manager....none of them worked...reply asap...it gets detcted but wont let me tranfer data.....!!!

That's a virus most probably. Run virus scan and then format it again.

Its Virus/malware for sure.
So glad I moved onto Linux.

do format it from cmd. i think it will help you.for that follow below step
open cmd
type format/q/x G and press enter
(replace the g with your pendrive drive)
