PC Upgrades

hi. i have P IV 2.4 GHz on Intel 845 GERG2 Mobo with GeForce MX440 and 256 MB RAM. Pl suggest upgrades for Gaming

Budget? Please post your budget first so that you get reasonable responses. You don't want people replying with ultra-high end configurations that will burn a big hole in your pocket.

upgrade your gfx card to a 6600non ultra or 6600GT AGP

Upgrade your RAM to 512 MB

this is just an advice as U haven't given any budget

Thanks for your advice. Another problem is that although i hav a 17 inch CRT, I get a maximum visible display of 15.7 inch only. when i start my comp it starts with a lot of flickering and horizontal lines.it settles when the windows xp welcome screen appears, bt display is stuck at 15.7 inches.

well can u c in ur monitor its written LG thats the problem nothin else.m i write sudhirkumar that you hav a LG monitor?
