1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run?
Ans: MS OFFICE, VLC PLAYER, CHROME on WIN 7/10

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:20 K(excluding software)

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:Huh! No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Win 7/10

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:500 gb

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?

Intel pentium gold g5400--5000
asus prime H310M-E--4500
8gb adata d30 ddr4 8gb ram--3000
corsair vs450 psu--2400
any local brand cheap cabinet--700
Dell 19.5" monitor on amazon--4900
240gb kingston A400 ssd from onlyssd.com--2400(you will be much better off with a 240gb ssd compared to a 500gb hdd especially when running win 10 which is your only option on latest hardware).

Dear all, as it seems from your suggestions, I kept my budget way too low.
So, I am willing to raise it to 25k.
Also, I intend to use cheap zebronics cabinets with PSU(₹1200-500). HDD would be cheaper, ₹1200 for 500 gb.
Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong

Is there a brand new 500GB HDD is in market with full manufacturer warranty? Go with Whitestar's suggested SSD.
With now increased budget you don't have to make big compromise like going for el cheapo PSU.

And use ongoing offers if you can.
