Office PC under build for 30-35k?

Hello!



My dad has an office setup and he wants to buy a PC with budget around 30-35k.



I wanted the PC to have a 12th gen/AMD equivalent processor with integrated graphics ( non F processor). So that it is reasonably futureproof.



I also wanted SSD/HDD combo with SSD just to load Windows/essential software and HDD to save his work.



I want alteast 8GB DDR4 RAM. If 16 GB can be had the better!



I have no clue about motherboard required.





He already has keyboard, mouse, speaker an old monitor with a VGA port so NOT planning to buy another monitor.



Any advice and hints are welcome!

Budget PCs are expensive & don't help much.

i3 12100 + B660 chipset board + 8GB DDR4 + 250GB NVME + 80 plus Bronze 450w + Case would cost you about 35k.

Add more memory and storage as and when you need.

I'm just looking at this small form factor desktop PC - only 260watt power requirement - Any good for longevity ? as no battery/screen/touchpad to deal with in the future. Lots of I/O with RAM (32 GB) & Storage upgrade but no PCIe x16 or x1 slots - So user forever stuck to UHD 730 Graphics, But for office work & Linux distro testing rig it will be ideal.....What do you think?

I don't recommend pre-built because of poor quality of parts like mobo & PSU mainly. Also that uses non standard PSU most likely, maybe even mobo & cabinet is not standard SFF. So, if something fails, not as easy to replace stuff.

CPU - Intel i3 12100 - 12k

Mobo - Asus Prime H610M-E D4 - 7.3k

RAM - 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 - 5.5k

GPU - iGPU

M.2 SSD - WD SN570 500GB - 4.5k

HDD - None

PSU - Corsair CV450 - 3k

Cabinet - Deepcool Mattrexx 40 3FS - 3.7k (micro ATX)

Total - 36k

Get USB WiFi & BT dongles, if needed. Grey market Win10 keys cost 300.

Overall a better PC with more headroom for upgrades as well. SFF parts are expensive, hence didn't recommend.
