NVIDIA 7300 GT Clashes Asus A8N-VM

I have a Asus A8N-VM motherboard. I recently bought a Zebronics NVIDIA 7300gt card . THe first time it didnt even detect it and monitor didnt come on. After flashing my bios, which was the culprit - i tried it. The whole color scheme was messed up and there was a reddish color tinge. Looked like mars' surface
Anyways i went to the shop and got a another card. His monitor was screwed up so cudnt really test well. When i put in this card - the obvious red tnge was gone but the colors still didnt seem right. I put on CS:S (Counter strike source)
an lo ! the RED tinge started flickering ! I gave totally given up and m thinking of now buying a ATi card.

SO just a lil heads up , 7300gt and ASUS A8n-VM .. NO NO NO !!
dunno about other compatibility issues

^^^ cud be that ur mobo is the main culprit and it cud be that the prob is specific with ur mobo and is not a general compatibility case of that mobo.

I doubt that. I tried it on my friends mobo, same A8N-VM - same problem
I now bought a ATi x1300 .. works like a charm

update the BIOS(already done)but this time carefully & update all the drivers of motherboard & don't use the nVidia drivers comes with CD,instead download the latest drivers from www.nvidia.com
And....
go...do it....NOW!!
