No Sound when playing via USB

Guys,

When I am connecting my Pen Drive to USB in my Philips TV, some movies are running perfectly where as some have only pictures and no sound. From what I have noticed that there is no sound in when movies have DTS track. Smaller movies works fine..Any idea is this is known issue ?

Can something be done to rectify this ?

It depends on the format of the movie. Sometimes the audio track is encoded in a format that the TV cannot read.

Your tv don't have dolby decoder that is why there is no sound with some files.You can convert those videos to stereo sound with software convertor.
