I've assembled a PC from several of my old components (and some donated by friends) for a few poor kids in my neighburhood. Here are the specs:
P4 1.70Ghz on VIA Motherboard
40GB HDD
128 MB SDRAM
Windows XP

Everything went fine after installing XP, even downloaded all the required XP updates...because the total memory is very low and it was using 32 MB of shared memory I went to the BIOS and changed the shared Video RAM (for onboard graphics) to "None". When I rebooted after this I no longer get a display on my monitor.

There is nothing wrong with the monitor because it works with other computers.

How do I fix this problem? Please help.

refresh the BIOS , use those jumpers or remove the battery for a few hours . .set the display memory(shared ) to minummum available in give set and not none. .

for me removing it for about a minute works... also remove the mos battery and reset it using a jumper..
